LabLeather
LabLeather is a leather-like material that’s made entirely in a laboratory. This means that it is 100% vegan and takes up less resources to produce, thus being more sustainable and eco-friendlier than animal leather.
Here to make it clear
There’s a lot of confusion around synthetic leather these days and we’re here to sort it out. Depending on the process, some synthetic leathers are not all that eco-friendly or sustainable. Split PU leather contains some animal byproducts. PVC leather contains more plastic ethers.
HOW IT’S MADE
LabLeather is made of partially recycled plastics, combined with ethers.
The result is a sturdy material that doesn’t change color or shape over time, making it more durable than Animal Leather.
GOOD TO KNOW
It’s water-resistant and alcohol sanitizer safe. This means you can spray it with disinfectants and the color won’t fade.
A WORK IN PROGRESS
There are still a lot of chemicals involved in the making Soother, so it’s not the most eco-friendly solution. It also does not decompose when thrown away in nature.
We are still researching and working on better vegan leather alternatives when it comes to sustainability.
